Transition from single orbits to several sources feeding one brand

The short version

  • SEO Galaxy becomes GetMentioned on 1 June 2026. The website moves to getmentioned.com as well.
  • The old platform at space.seo-galaxy.com stays reachable until 30 September 2026. Export any bookings you still need before that date.
  • Accounts and open bookings do not carry over. The new platform at app.getmentioned.com requires a fresh registration.
  • On-page SEO agency work is no longer part of the offer. The marketplace for placements stays and keeps growing.
  • The team, the publisher relationships and the handling stay the same. You still never deal with publishers yourself.

Why the name changed

The name describes what the platform is meant to do. SEO Galaxy was mostly read as what it was at its core, an agency for search marketing with a linkbuilding marketplace attached.

That falls short. Search engines and AI systems weigh trust, experience, expertise and authority. A different question sits at the centre now. Where is your brand talked about, and in what context?

A pure linkbuilding marketplace does not answer that. A platform for external visibility does. Backlinks stay part of it, because the web is made of links and references have always served as proof of trust. Building authority has simply grown wider than building links.

What changes for you

The platform

Bookings run through app.getmentioned.com. The platform was rebuilt over the past two years, which is why neither accounts nor open bookings carry over. A fresh registration is required.

Existing bookings remain visible at space.seo-galaxy.com until 30 September 2026. Export them through the function under "Bookings" while it is still there. After that date they are gone.

The website

The website moves too. Everything from seo-galaxy.com is reachable under getmentioned.com. Old addresses redirect on their own, so bookmarks and links keep working.

Two areas were retired along the way, namely Google Ads and web analytics. Both belonged to the agency business we no longer run. Anyone who saved articles on those topics now lands on the closest remaining text.

The process

Ordering works as before. You set up projects, compare domains, check competitors and book placements. All coordination with publishers stays on our side.

Portfolio distribution to partners and agencies continues unchanged, only the look is new.

Which formats are coming

The new name is the starting point for a wider set of formats. Backlinks fit into that set instead of standing alone. In progress are:

  • Guest articles with an author profile and brand context, for depth and expert positioning
  • Link insertions into existing, established content
  • Brand mentions, with or without a link
  • Best-of lists and comparison placements for environments close to the purchase
  • Advertorials and placements in trade media
  • Podcast interviews and expert features for reach
  • Tools that take work off your hands day to day

Rather than selling a single tactic, we look for the mix of formats that fits the goal. Rankings, brand building, press work or positioning founders and experts.

What to do now

Three things, in this order:

  • Create an account at app.getmentioned.com if you plan to keep working with us.
  • Export your old bookings at space.seo-galaxy.com before 30 September 2026.
  • Update bookmarks and reports to getmentioned.com. The redirects hold, but the shorter address reads better.

What comes next

The rebrand is not a hard cut, it runs step by step. The name is set, the platform is live, the website follows. What follows are the formats above and more metrics to compare, history included.

Frequently asked questions

Do my account and bookings carry over automatically?

No. The platform was rebuilt, so neither accounts nor open bookings transfer. A fresh registration at app.getmentioned.com is required.

How long can I reach my old bookings?

Until 30 September 2026 at space.seo-galaxy.com. After that the access closes. Export the data beforehand through the function under "Bookings".

Do my old seo-galaxy.com bookmarks still work?

Yes. Every address redirects permanently to the matching page on getmentioned.com. For retired topics such as Google Ads you land on the closest remaining article.

Do you still offer SEO consulting and on-page work?

No. On-page SEO agency work has been retired. The focus is external visibility, meaning placements, digital PR and brand mentions.

Does anything change about pricing or the process?

Nothing about the process. You book as before and we handle the publisher side. Current pricing is on the pricing page.

Is my contact person still the same?

Yes. The same people, the same publisher relationships and the same data sit behind GetMentioned as before.
